Kenny's Personal Coat of Arms
"
This Coat of Arms was my business logo from the 1990s, created in an effort to bring together my tools, beliefs, studies and where I'm coming from inside. It has evolved over the years, as have I.
My Vision is an aware world of love, be-ing with sharing, caring, consciously communicating, passionate people as we create and grow together. My Mission is to live this world into being, sharing insights and tools to enable self-awareness, conscious community and abundant, fulfilling lives.
I was raised Roman Catholic, hailing from a Goan family in Uganda. After refugee camps I was an altar boy through my school years in Pembrokeshire, where I studied and explored various aspects of Spirituality. I moved to London in my 20s where I studied and practised Theosophy, then A Course In Miracles, which enabled me to bring cosmic and esoteric wisdom to the mainstream - where I wish to be of further service in our changing world.
My Vision is an aware world of love, be~ing with caring, sharing, communicating, grounded, passionate people as we create and grow together.
My Mission is to live this world into being, sharing insights and tools to enable self-awareness, conscious community and abundant, fulfilling lives.
QUEST FOR THE HOLY GRAIL
The Holy Grail is The Sacred Vessel from which Jesus drank at The Last Supper, which later collected his blood and sweat at the crucifixion. Joseph of Arimathea, Jesus’ grand uncle who was a travelling merchant, later took it to Glastonbury. King Arthur is said to have used it to miraculously heal the mortally wounded. Rumour has it that the Welsh are its current custodians. Our bodies are our sacred vessels that carry our very souls on our quests for self-transformation. We alchemically transmute the ‘lead’ of dense, relatively disconnected, unaware human energy, into the ‘gold’ of conscious energy, of which we are all part. Current realities and beliefs manifest, offering feedback and guidance on our alchemical pathways to enlightenment.
THE SPEAR OF DESTINY
Roman Centurion Longinus pierced Jesus’s side with this lance at the crucifixion, to confirm that he was dead. Blood and water ‘miraculously’ poured from him, collected in ‘the sacred vessel’ by Joseph of Arimathea. "Whoever owns the spear shall rule the world”. ‘The Mark of the Beast’ claims that Adolf Hitler started World War II in order to capture the spear. Our destiny lies in our own hands. Much as astrology, numerology, psychology, kinesiology, divination, etc. can provide profound insight, we are ultimately the masters of our own destiny. We would be wise to follow our true north, navigating signs from temptations, love from fear, reality from illusion, as we follow our hearts to live our truth.
THE SWORD OF TRUTH
‘Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.’ (Ephesians 6:17)
Archangel Michael is traditionally custodian of the Sword of Truth and champions its magical function of slaying our inner demons and dragons, cutting the chords that may drain our energy enabling a powerful, passionate embodied life, following Thy will and our inner force. Our inner sword of truth helps us hear ‘the will of God’, the guiding force within that connects us. We can use it to sever the chords of limiting beliefs, attachments, behavioural patterns and the outcomes that no longer serve. We are made aware of who we no longer are, or need to be. We dare to grow into who we really are, beyond past experience, limiting thoughts and beliefs.
THE SHIELD OF UNION
Based on the Carmelite shield, from the centre of the shield rises a mountain, where knowledge, wisdom and inner resources are available. Its meeting in the middle symbolises the soul’s union with God, of which we are all part. Its blackness brings the shadow, the parts of us that we disown. When integrated, our inner and outer wounds of separation heal. The union of shadow and light allows being. The shield honours our boundaries, where we choose to meet life. Our relationships, our limits and our dance with intimacy as we get to know who we are when in risk. Boundaries provide a sense of self, an authentic and intimate place of meeting from which the dance of life unfolds as boundaries are tested and we grow with the flow.
THE SUN, THE MOON, THE COMPASS
The sun / yang / masculine energy is hard, warm, bright, noisy and active. The moon / yin / feminine energy is soft, cool, dark, quiet and still. Yin and yang are opposite, but complimentary, one giving existence to the other. The balance is delicate and harmony is a constant process of adjustment between the masculine and feminine in us as we take part in life. The sun / moon engraving is held in the Hara, Tan Yin, or sacral centre of the shield, where masculine and feminine balance with the strength and power of our life-force. The directions: South, West, North and East form the primary rays, to help us navigate with awareness in natural alignment of our authentic integrated selves between heaven and earth.
THE TREE OF LIFE
With a strong, firm trunk, roots reaching to the depths of the earth, reflected by branches, twigs and leaves reaching to the heights of the heavens: as above, so below. The Tree of Life celebrates that all life on earth is interconnected. The natural cycle of life. The tree to hug and help us get grounded, to sit beneath for enlightenments’ sake, to lean on, climb on and whisper wisdom to those who listen. Placed on the shield in the area of personal power, speaking our truth, self-worth and wealth; it grows from the area of family beliefs, hereditary health issues and our ancestors from which they were formed. Our health reflects our current reality and our ability to adjust our sails to harness the energies of the elements. To ground. To lay roots. To fruitfully grow.
THE OPEN HEART
The heart is said to be the seat of the soul. The centre from which love is given and received. The central chakra through which we connect with ourselves and others. A courageous heart. A heavy heart. A bleeding heart. Strong of heart. A broken heart that’s healing, learning and growing. An open heart, strong and pure. Placed on the shield in the area of the mother, nurture, unconditional love, receiving, key relationships and close community, this powerful feminine energy in us all meets and empowers the masculine energy of fulfilling our quest. Our centre of transformation. Our alchemical guide and key. Our pathways demand that the heart’s wisdom is followed.
HERALDIC SCROLL
Sapere aude is a Latin phrase meaning 'Dare to know'. Originally used by the Roman poet Horace in 20BC, the phrase became associated with the Age of Enlightenment during the 17th and 18th centuries after philosopher Immanuel Kant used it in 1784 in his essay 'Answering the Question: What is Enlightenment?' as he developed his theories of the application of reason in the public sphere of human affairs. When I work with people, my caveat is "once you know, you can't unknow". Ignorance might be convenient rather than bliss, excusable and rather than responsible and an easy route for the unconscious rather than walking a conscious path, even if it is a lonesome road less travelled at times. Awareness is key and I believe that those who know operate on a common frequency, attracting one another, a creative life of freedom and fulment where new levels are revealed as they are earned by correct action.
