INTRODUCING THE MEN-SPEAK DOCU-SERIES

We are creating a powerful, authentic new docu-series exploring men’s emotional lives. Produced by MenSpeak - the UK's longest running men's support group network - the project gives men from all walks of life the opportunity to share, reflect and connect through honest conversation — and invites viewers into the often unspoken world of men’s real feelings

WHAT WE’RE DOING – AND WHY

Starting early Summer 2025, we’re inviting participants to join a series of filmed MenSpeak groups in a supportive, respectful and confidential setting.

The aim is to showcase the power of men speaking openly and to challenge outdated ideas around masculinity, isolation and emotional expression.

WHAT'S INVOLVED

There will be six monthly sessions that you will be taking part in. These will take place the last Thursday of each month - 7- 9pm in Central London, starting 26th June lasting to the end of the year. Sessions typically last 120 minutes and are guided by experienced facilitators.

There will also be a short pre-interview to get to know you a little better beforehand and potentially one or two follow-up interviews after specific sessions or the series as a whole.

There may also be the opportunity for a weekend retreat together outside of London as part of the series.

HOW WE'LL USE THE FOOTAGE

We will film the group sessions as well as individual interviews, always with full consent and transparency. Material will be edited into a series of short episodes to be released online through The Menspeak website and social platforms.

All participants will have the option to appear anonymously or under first names only if preferred.
